About Gold Bali
Gold Bali is made from mature red-vein Mitragyna speciosa leaf grown on Borneo (Kalimantan), Indonesia, then briefly fermented before drying. The fermentation step is what shifts the leaf toward amber and is the only thing that distinguishes a gold strain from a standard red strain at harvest. The "Bali" name refers to the historical shipping port, not the island.
This batch (GBI11425) was milled in late 2025 and packed by hand in Poughkeepsie, NY. Because gold strains start from red leaf, Gold Bali shares the same regional origin as our Red Bali: grown on Borneo, exported through Bali shipping routes.
Alkaloid Profile
The alkaloids most quantified for Gold Bali, measured by HPLC against the dry weight of the milled leaf. 7-Hydroxymitragynine is trace-level and naturally occurring, never concentrated.
