The land
What makes Hulu Kapuas kratom country?
The upper Kapuas is remote. The river is the road: villages sit along the banks, and harvested leaf travels downstream by boat before it ever sees a truck. The riverbank soil is constantly refreshed by seasonal flooding, and the tree stands here are older and less intensively farmed than in the big growing districts downstream.
Hulu Kapuas
The work
How is the leaf harvested and dried?
Because the area is remote and the stands are partly wild, Hulu harvests are smaller and arrive on nature's schedule rather than a farm calendar. That scarcity is why Hulu strains carry their own name and their own following. Leaf is picked at the maturity the lot calls for, dried under cover with a balanced indoor and outdoor cycle, then milled fine.
Hulu strains read as the refined end of the trade: smooth aroma and balanced alkaloid ratios. Harvests there are genuinely seasonal, and supply follows the river.

Hulu Kapuas questions

The short answers. Lab figures come straight from each lot’s certificate.
Strain names are trade names: a region in a name describes a style, not where each lot grew. Lab figures describe tested lots, not every pouch. This page is botanical and trade information, not medical advice.
